Abused codeine- 400 mg, alcohol, Marijuana, nicotine in combination for around 4 year, now on alprazolam- 4 mg a day for around 3 months, it helped a lot, now completely off of codeine and seeming no problems with other mentioned drugs but want to get off alprazolam as well as the anxiety, now again consulted a psychaitrist, advised total abstain from alprax and prescribd clonazepam 1 mg 3 times a day, and prothiaden 25 mg once a day, will that be sufficie to get me off alprax and to face the withdrawals? I had previously taken clonazepam, dosent work well on me, pls suggest something mentally satisfying.
