I have chronic cough now and had shortness of breath for more than 8 months. I have visited chettinad hospital in chennai and pulmonologist took pft test and said that no problem in the lungs and sent me to cardiologist who took echo and diagnosed mvp and gave me calaptin 40 and also told that cough is not due to mvp and looks like due to allergic bronchitis and prescribed monteklc eo@forte and two other tablets and a syrup. After 10 days taking that medicine I became normal without any cough. Continued calaptin for 3 months as he asked. Now I stopped calaptin as my shortness of breath is gone and am normal. But after 4 months gap, my cough came back and not going for more than 1 month now. I have took the same medicine for 5 days still it's not going but little reduced. I also feel light headedness. Is this to be worried?
