Hi, Aldactone (spironolactone) should ideally be avoided in pregnancy as it can cause feminization of a male baby (external genitalia in a male baby may look like female). But 100mg is a low dose and this effect of the medicine may occur at doses more than 200mg per day. Studies on women exposed to Aldactone in pregnancy who later had male babies did not find increased occurence of female looking external genitalia. However, she should discontinue the Aldactone for the rest of the pregnancy.

It is not recommended in pregnancy. since she is 3 months now do a NT Scan with screening of abnormalities in the baby. if it's not there you can continue. reconfirm it during anomalies scan at 5th month
