Dear User, it's very necessary that meet a professional who will prescribe the proper medication for the issues you have mentioned. Do let the professional you are consulting know your worrying thoughts about starting medication. Apart from that, it's also important that you seek therapy and counselling sessions. Medication and counselling sessions always go hand in hand. Also, I would recommend you to start practising some breathing exercises like Pranayam.

Dear lybrate-user, you were unable to help yourself since 1 year. You are young and your progress will slow down with anxiety, headache, etc. Fluvoxamine is a field tested drug for ocd. The dose that will help you, will be decided by increasing it slowly over months. It might be 400 mg. You are able to consult psychiatrists online. If fluvoxamine will cause dangerous side effects, your psychiatrist will not prescribe it as out patient and for 2 months. Are you going to worry about the negative effect of medication instead of experimenting by taking it?

Do not take both together, usually in first, polypharmacy is not done. Better get a second opinion, but medications are must along with CBT. good luck.
