Sir I would suggest at least. A minimum of two implants for the upper denture and lower dentures.However the retention with 4 implants for a lower denture is better.Removable is preferable as you can remove it , clean the denture and wear them.If constantly in your mouth .Maintenance of hygiene becomes more difficult.Maintenance of oral hygiene is very important esp with implant supported dentures, as lack of oral hygiene could make you more prone for secondary infections which would be bad for the implants itself.May end up with peri- implantitis, I suggest Fibre glass or Lucitone for the denture.Better quality material always better, high impact dentures with equally strong high impact imported teeth.Will render your denture virtually unbreakable.

Hello, you sems to be a dentist. Very good question. In a healthy patient i.e not medically compromised, fixed denture (implant supported in edentuluous patient) more suitable optient . For lower denture we may have to place 4 to 6 implants depend on verious clinical situation. Material suitable may vary depending on treatment plan . But all r more or less good materials.

Hi, 1. Fixing an upper denture is usually requested by the patients who are not comfortable with removable ones. 6-8 Implants may be required for the same. 2. Lower removable dentures can be placed on 2-4 Implants depending on the design and bone conditions. 3. Advantages - it's fixed, so no fear of it popping out. Better speech and chewing efficiency. Disadvantages would be just the opposite of those mentioned above and that maintaining oral hygiene becomes little difficult, but can be done with a water pik. 4. Lucitone is a better material. Lighter and less porous.
