I am having mild toothache in my upper left side, I had done a root canal for that teeth 6 months back, but it's paining now.

Hi Lybrate-user, pain the rc treated tooth can not be the only reason, may be there is other cavity which is adjacent to that tooth and may refer the pain there, or any gum issue, this can be only ascertained by clinical examination by the dentist. Kindly pay visit to the dentist.
