I am a patient of hypothyroidism and taking 175 mcg thyronorm tablets since one year my tsh is 0.03. Am ok with my health. Am I ok with it? Means the way of treatment and my tsh level? Please answer sir.

Hello, Thanks for the query. The TSH level is lower than expected normal (range 0.5 to 5 mU/L). That means the current dosage is a bit more than required. Hence dose needs to be reduced so that TSH is maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L. So after reducing the dose by 12.5 mcg or 25 mcg please check TSh after 6 weeks. Thanks.
