Its 7 months since marriage and we are trying for a baby. We have sex almost every day except for those days. I have done my semen test. My count is 42 .rest of the criteria like mobility mortality is ok. She has done her pelvic (gynaec) test done which is showing normal. One local doctor being prescribed me clomifene citrate tablets for 25: days.this tablet is meant for females only. Is it safe for me. Please advice me what should we both do further. Thanks.

If your semen analysis is normal, you don't need to take any medication. AN HSG to rule out tubal block can be done. You can also do follicular monitoring with timed intercourse
