When I suffer from stomach pain, I consulted doctors but one said it is appendix another said lever enlarge in size. My sonography result indicates subacute appendix 6.5mm. I want to know that which one is true. I am so confused. I also want to know that one doctor suggested me equirex medicine but this medicine is for what, what side effects?

Dear ..there should be no confusion in diagnosis as sonography is confirmatory for diagnosis...u've not mentioned the detailed sonography report but if it was enlarged liver it would've shown on usg...its more of appendicitis and if its paining continuously...u would need to get it surgically removed...tablets would give u only temporary relief... Equirax tablet has chlordiazepoxide and clidinium in it ..used mainly in abdominal colic/pain due to irritable bowel syndrome or ulcers
