I am 24 years old female. I have pcod and try to conceive for one year. Lastly I got positive result on february but on march I had miscarriage. Till june I didn't get my periods so I went to my doctor she suggested me to take duphaston 10 mg for 5 days then after 10 days I got my period on 23rd june but again I got my periods on 10th july. Now my doctor tell me to take pause 500 mg and tell me to check my periods date for some months. Is it ok to take pause 500 mg? Becoz I have irregular periods so does this medicine will effects on my next periods?

Pause 500 mg should not be used for a longer period of time. Ideal would be to do an ultra sound scan to know the endometrial thickness. Treatment starts from there.

Tab. Pause is useful if your cycles are heavy. It reduces the amount of bleed. It doesn't affect your subsequent cycles though, if needed you can take it.
