Im 27 weeks pregnant. At 21 weeks my gct was 168. So my gyn recommended an endocrinologist. As per her suggestion I am monitoring my blood glucose daily. Fasting glucose is always below 90. After meals, most of the times the value is below 120, but sometimes when I have little more its going to 123-129. Doctor told medicine is not required as im normal weight and also dint gain any weight from past one month. Is my baby safe? I have read that gestational diabetes causes still birth. Im worried, can I please receive some assuring words. Is minor fluctuation ok sometimes?
