Hello .. Both copper T and Mirena are highly efficacious.. The failure rate of Mirena is .2 per 100 women years of use whereas that of Copper T 380 is .6 per 100 women years of use .. Mirena is costly but is more useful when along with contraception there is some associated pathology such as AUB , adenomyosis, endometriosis etc ..
