Hi, I am 47 years old female having thyroid and high bp. Past seven months, I am not having periods and often feel hot flashes also. I thought that now it was menopause. Then because of pigmentation on face, I consulted dermatologist, he gave me antioxidants, calcium and iron supplements. Then after 10 days of taking all medicines, I had periods. is it normal or some serious indication.

Yes it is normal. Don't take hormonal pills. The period may remain irregular. Better take sonography abdomen to confirm.
