Anahita was a happy although not too social child till about 3 years of age. She used to recite rhymes from playschool, counting, alphabets, everyone's names etc but then when she joined formal school at 3, she started becoming subdued due to pressure of writing, studies in nursery. In about 5-6 months she stopped reciting rhymes, alphabets, anyone's names. She is 5 now and her main problems are 1) very high fears of moving characters in malls etc. Dogs especially if violent, swings, certain violent looking male individuals 2) no attention in academics and school and regular teacher complaints of lack of attention or reply 3) not conversational or expressive even to mother/father what could the problem be? How to proceed?
