Hello lybrate-user. You should not stop the drop immediately bcoz its does needs to be reduced gradually depending on your clinical condition. You can take simple paracetamol for headache but only after other causes of headache are ruled out. Intermediate uveitis is a chronic condition and it takes time to completely resolve. By the way, is it happening to you for the first time or it has happened earlier also?
Hello user diflucor eyedrops are steroid drops. When used without supervision, they can cause certain side effects like raise in intraocular pressure which can result in headache. Kindly get back to your doctor to get your intraocular pressures checked. The treatment for uveitis depends on the clinical presentation and the cause of uveitis. Your ophthalmologist should be able to prescribe the correct treatment after complete examiniation.
Headache is due to uveitis rather due to drops. Need cycloplegics for treatment. Not sure whether you are using or not.
Diflucor can cause inta ocular pressure rise. What about sympoms of uveitis?
The uveitis is inflammation of uveal tissues of eye. It causes pain and redness in eye, headache, blurring of vision. The headache in your case might be due to the disease condition itself. The above mentioned drug does cause headache.
Good afternoon if you are having intermediate uveitis then first thing which is important to know is history and any systemic association related to it. You are taking steroids for this which is important to take in uveitis case but it can also cause long term side effects so I would like to recommend you that you get a proper check up done before continuing this drop. And depending on the severity of the condition the steroids are given thank you I hope this will be helpful to you
