Hello doctor, i've had irregular menstrual bleeding since 2 years, my recent consultation with a gynecologist prescribed me duoluton l 250 mg for 3 months and ceftum for 10 days. I'm not sure if the tablets are right as info on google tells me that it is used to avoid pregnancy and also irregular periods. Will it be a problem in my future?

Hello lybrate-user. Never take them. They will give temporary effect and the periods will be regular for one or two months. After stopping them it will be more irregular. And the side effects of it are lifelong. The better and safe solution is homoeopathic treatment. You can consult me at Lybrate.
