I am diabetics and on insulin (novomix 30 ).10 units morning. Prominad 100. On lantus 10 units at night hba1c 6.6. Urea 38, creatinine 0.76 bilirubin total and direct indirect marginally raised urine ro urine sugar 4++. Sugar varying from 67 to 258. Sugar raised after afternoon mostly. Pl suggest corrective insulin dose. And medication if required.

Dear Lybrate user it is good to see such a good control with a1c of 6.6. First of pls observe if you have got any low sugars as 67 suggests that you are having low sugars. Any sugar reading may rise after a lowsugar. Coming to your urine sugar 4 + pls do not worry about it .your tablet prominad that is pushing your excess sugar out through your urine and it is normal when you are taking that tablet. I wud suggest you to get your fasting and post prandial blood sugars once as you have not mentioned them. Your Dr. may titrate the dose.
