Hello doctor, I am 27 years old female got married 11 months ago and trying to conceive. In the month if february, I visited doctor and follicular study has been done and egg has been released on 13th day and hcg injections have been given twice after ovulation and progesterone tablets have been given from the day of ovulation for 15 days. I completed taking tablets for 15 days. On 20th march was the last tablet and today there is little spotting and very very tiny little clots. Yesterday was my period due date. I was about to test my pregnancy today. Doctor asked me to come back today for pregnancy test. Can I go for pregnancy test or shall I consider this as a period. Is it just a progesterone withdrawal spotting and is there any chance of pregnancy. Kindly help me out. I am really confused.
