Good day, I have recently been diagnosed with pcos and a couple days ago, iron deficient anemia. My menstrual cycle finished on Monday, however I am still experiencing mild lower abdominal and lower back cramps. I am currently taking iron tablets for the anemia and diane 35 birth control for the pcos. Are post menstrual cramps normal for a 26 year old with pcos or is the anemia causing this pain? I do not have any urinary issues like burning during peeing or constant urge to pee. However, I do feel nauseous from time to time which I have been told is because of the anemia. Can you please say why I am having these menstrual type cramps even though my period is over.
