I am 41 years old and a patient of ibs. Actually the problem arose when I first found mucous with blood in my stool in the month of June- July, 2018. Thereafter colonoscopy was done in the month of august, 2018 the report of which was normal. At that time I took rixmin 550 for 15 days, colospa-x and providac capsules for almost two months and my said problem went away. Now a few days ago I was advised taking librax bdac for one month for my occasional abdominal cramps but as soon as I started taking librax I noticed that my stool appeared glossy after 4-5 days of my taking librax I again found mucous with tinge of blood in my stool. Then I was advised taking rixmin 550 bdpc for 7 days that problem somehow went away but for the last 5-6 days I have been suffering from a problem of itching and burning sensation in my rectum area at the time of defecating and today I again noticed a small quantity of mucous with tinge of blood in my stool. I can't make out whether ever get rid of this problem. Please help.
