Looking for a physical sunscreen that's free from chemical agents, if there is an effective natural, organic one, even better. I have sensitive (reddishness on cheeks and chin due to acne treatments) and combination acne prone skin with large pores on cheeks. Have used la shield and sunheal sunscreen but now, sunheal makes my skin a bit dry. Skeptical regarding la shield fisico gel due to its thick texture, it might not suit my skin. I have read that avobenzone ,oxybenzone, octisalate, octocrylene, homosalate and ethyl methyl methoxycinnamate are harmful ingredients but these are present in almost 90 percent of commercial and over the counter sunscreens, even present in small and la shield gel sunscreen. Are these ingredients really harmful? If so, please recommend a good sunscreen devoid of these ingredients suitable for my skin type.
