I am suffering with hbp since last 13 years. My age 49 years. I am using tazloc h 80 (one tab in morning). My average reading are 150/90. I am also a diabetic since last 3 years. Kindly suggest medicine if required.

Mr Bpul, Thanks for the query. When a person is appropriate medication for controlling high BP, it is maintained around 120 to 130 / 70 to 80 mm Hg. If the reading is 150/90 mm Hg, it means, current treatment is inadequate. There is a need to add a drug. As regards having diabetes, unless the details are known, there is no way to recommend any drug. It is necessary to know fasting, PP glucose levels, & HbA1c% plus present treatment if any. Plus present diet pattern& extent of daily exercise as well as lipid profile. Thanks.
