I am 27 year old male suffering from depression and anxiety. It started in 2011. Till now I have consulted 2 - 3 doctors but was unable to continue medication due to high cost. I keep myself isloted from every person. I used to take fluoxetine firstly for 1 month but apart from feeling sleepy every time I did not feel any change. After some time I consulted another doctor who suggested me nexito 5 and after 10 but it was ineffective and due to mistake I forgot two days and after that is reacted. Since then I am not taking any medicine but I am constantly feeling low. I am unable to perform my job duty. I once unknowingly inserted my 3 fingers inside a pneumatic machine which I was operating from other hand. I have lost my all concentration. And I am also suffering from chronic constipation since 7-8 years. From few days I am unable to defecate properly. No bowel movement is going on properly. Most of the laxatives are not healing me. I am feeling helpless in life. Please guide me.

Hello Friend, Good that you are seeking a help here. I can understand your suitation. Yes, it's true medicine alone can't treat such severe depression issue. You need to in parallel follow certain non medicine treatment plans. If you analyze, the actual root cause behind your depression is uncontrolled or overwhelming negative or anxious thoughts about future or past. Until and unless you mange or divert or cope with such thoughts, you can't completely overcome your problems. This definitely needs mindsets changes techniques or psychotherapy solution along with few lifestyle changes, dietary changes, excersise routines and more. As body and mind are interlinked, any emotional disturbance at mind can easily affect the body functioning and causes constipation, body pain, migraine, nervousness, sleeplessness, lack of appetite, less concentration and many more.
