I am having a daughter of age 2 having a weight 12 kg. She has a soft spot at the front of the head (anterior fontanelle). I have been advised by the doctors that this condition may have been arise due to lack of calcium and other vitamins. But her overall growth is normal. She is very energetic, enthusiastic and well behaved kid. But she does not sleep longer than 2 hrs in a row. And over a day she sleeps total 6 to 7 hrs only. Her diet plan is as follows Mid morning - 1glass of milk with 2 slice of bread and butter, and 1 boiled egg Afternoon - 1 full plate daal khichdi with 1tsp ghee Late afternoon - 1 glass of milk Evening - 1 Bowl of fruits (banana / papaya / chickoo) Night - 1 chapati green veg. Rice and daal Late night - 1 Cup of milk. Kindly advise me about 1. Anterior fontanelle is it abnormal condition at the age of 2 and what may be the cure 2. How can I improve her sleeping pattern 3. Kindly suggest me the food supplements which can be added in her daily nutrition or with milk. Thanks in advance.
