Hi, I'm a 19 years-old female. Today I went to gynecologist and found out that I have a 2 cm follicular cyst on my left ovary and polycystic on my right ovary. After the examination the doctor told me to come back again on the 2nd or the 3rd day of my next period to get my hormones checked so that we can start treatment for PCOS, but I have migraine. Would it be possible for me to take pills that change hormones in spite of my migraine? And after the examination the doctor wanted me to give blood for beta-hCG and the results came out negative (<0.1) as expected. Why did the doctor want pregnancy test from me even though she checked my ovaries with ultrasound (she even told me to come back when I get my period before the pregnancy test!)?
