At the age of 38 prostate does not seem to be the cause. It is more likely to be in the urethra where the internal mucosa might have been inflammed due to infection or some trauma. Was there any suggestion of urinary stone in the past. A small stone might have passed out in the stream 20 days back leaving the urinary tract abraded which is causing this pain. This can be demonstrated by a cystoscopic examination but not advisable at present. There must be some urinary antibacterial and antispasmodic drug prescribed by aiims doctor.
