I am 37 years old, I am continuously bleeding for 17 days, doctor advised for tablet meprate for 21 days .One day I missed tablet meprate I realized and resumed the next day since then I am spotting. Doctor has examined internally. As my mother has cervical cancer. What is the reason and cause?

You can also get an USG done to rule out any pathology like fibroids or polyps. The commonest reason for continuous bleeding is anovulaion, but if the bleeding recurs in subsequent cycles, an endometrial biopsy may be required.
