It depends on how many weeks pregnant you are at the time of taking abortion pills. At 5?7 weeks pregnancy, you can expect bleeding to last at least for a week, with cramping pain. At 7?9 weeks pregnancy, bleeding may go on slightly longer, upto 10 days. However, there are no fixed criteria as it all depends on how the body responds to the medications. Generally, if bleeding lasts more than 10 days, do get your ultrasound done by a Gynecologist to rule out incomplete abortion. Do Not Self-Medicate, esp in this regard. Please consult a Gynecologist and get an ultrasound before taking pills.
