I got a huge pimple on my cheek a few weeks back. It was full of puss and looked very red. So I poked it with a sterilized needle. After removing the puss and some black blood, still it felt quite bumpy. So I applied some fresh garlic juice over it. It was painful and stinged quite a bit. By the time I understood that I shouldn't have done it and removed the garlic, it was too late. The acne wasn't there anymore, but I got this black scar like patch on that area. It looked like the skin there has been burnt or something. The next day I went to a dermatologist and he prescribed me an antibiotic along with a sodium fusidate ointment. It has been over a month now. There is no acne on that area anymore, but the scar is still there. I have been trying to use some home remedies, but nothing seems to work. On days it looks a little less prominent, and the very next day it again looks very dark and red. Suggest something that will actually work.
