Hi, I am asking this for my friend. She is having nightmares about people. She used to like someone, but now that person is in relationship with someone else. It's been a year but she can't stop thinking about him. She is having daydreams and nightmares about him. This is causing negative effects on her daily life. She tried to keep herself busy, but it's all going into the void. According to my intuition she is suffering from OCD. Any kind of lead or help would be be appreciated.

It could be ocd but I am not sure as I have not talked to your friend. She can recover or get out of this state by counseling and some medication. But for that more information is needed. One more thing I would like to add, by looking your concern for her I would suggest you to consult a doctor soon otherwise she will convert in an hope-less case. Will land in state of depression and will be on sleeping pills by the life.
