Polycystic ovarian disease (Pcod)

MD (alternative medicine), BHMS

Polycystic ovarian disease (Pcod)

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), also called hyperandrogenic anovulation (HA) or Stein-Leventhal syndrome is one of the most common endocrine disorders among women. PCOS has a diverse range of causes that are not entirely understood, but there is evidence that it is largely a genetic disease. Others say it is generally a metabolic dysfunction since it is reversible. Even though considered as a gynecological problem, PCOS consists of 28 clinical symptoms.
Common symptoms of PCOS include the following:

Menstrual disorders: PCOS mostly produces oligomenorrhea (few menstrual periods) or amenorrhea (no menstrual periods), but other types of menstrual disorders may also occur.
Infertility: This generally results directly from chronic anovulation (lack of ovulation).
Further information: Infertility in polycystic ovary syndrome
High levels of masculinizing hormones: The most common signs are acne and hirsutism (male pattern of hair growth), but it may produce hypermenorrhea (heavy and prolonged menstrual periods), androgenic alopecia (increase hair thinning or diffuse hair loss), or other symptoms. Approximately three-quarters of people with PCOS (by the diagnostic criteria of NIH/NICHD 1990) have evidence of hyperandrogenemia.
Metabolic syndrome: This appears as a tendency towards central obesity and other symptoms associated with insulin resistance. Serum insulin, insulin resistance, and homocysteine levels are higher in women with PCOS.

Asians affected by PCOS are less likely to develop hirsutism than those of other ethnic backgrounds. With the help of HOMOEOPATHY now no need to worry. We have a solution.

Irrespective of diagnosis you should do one thing. Take plenty of leafy vegetables, take plenty of water but not during lunch or dinner. Avoid water when you take food. At least 30 minuets before and 60 minuets after taking food. Avoid any kind of fast and junk food. Avoid biscuits and bread of any kind. Fibrous diet can solve your problem. Regarding piles - if the stools are dry or hard it causes some injury to the anal canal. I need to know whether it is bleeding or non bleeding. You can do one thing. Take a tub with warm water. Add some savlon liquid in it and sit in this tub for about 30 minuets. It will give some soothing effect and also will reduce if any infection is their.

Yes it is safe day. But make one correction only 1st to 7th day and 18th to 28th days are safe for unprotected sex and from 8th to 16th day the chances of getting pregnant are maximum. Sometimes due to less haemoglobin levels in blood it happens. Other common reason of this issue is, some girls develop a cystic growth on the ovaries due to some hormonal imbalence. This can be detected only by ultra sonography of her abdomen and pelvis.

Hi. A properly planned diet and some medicines can increase your weight. Your intake of food and requirement of energy for your daily works should be matched properly. Its just like your bank balance and your daily expenditures. Naturally if you spend more your bank balance will decrease day by day. And if you save the bank balance will at least remain same and also you can add to it. I will suggest a properly planned diet for you according to your daily work. connect with me on private chat so i can discuss with u properly and suggest u the things u can do

Hi. If your height is 5.9 and weight 106 then your bmi is about 34 which is called as obese (a step ahead overweight). You need to loose much. Your expected weight is in range of 70-80. With help of properly planned diet, exercise and some medicines can help you a lot. You need to cut of all the fast food and oily, spicy stuffs at once. Obese people are more prone to heart disease and diabetes. You should start the things as early as possible.
