A piece of my upper right grinder, towards the cheek side, broke off, resulting in a big hole. This tooth was filled earlier with silver filling. What are the best options available for me for this tooth?

Treatment depends upon amount of tooth to restored. X ray is done to rule out any infection. Vitality of tooth is checked. If tooth is vital (No nerve tissue involvement) can be restored with composite or inlay/ onlay.or may require Root canal treatment

hi..best option is to go for good composite material but it's not just filling the tooth hole , the tooth should be restored in such a way that it's original shape and anatomy is restored properly. .
