Hi Doctor, I am suffering from seizures and now its been like more than 4 years since I had last attack. Now I am got a night shift job. So will it affect my medication. Kindly advise whether I should take the job opportunity or not.

Dear friend, Since you had last seizure 4 years back, you are quite safe now. Although it depends on the seizure type, standard practice and in most common case ,we taper off antiepileptic drug after 3-4 year of seizure free interval. For you, I think it's okay if you join night duty at this stage provided you get a good -- day time sleep of total 7-8 hour in total in 24 hours. It will not affect your medications either.
