I'm an 18 years old male. About a month ago, I had Jaundice (Acute Viral hepatitis A). My bilirubin level was at 6.2 mg/dl and SGPT and SGOT were at 539 and 479 respectively. I therefore consulted a doctor and he gave me medicine (ULYSES PLUS, LACTULOSE SOLUTION) and gave 1 month bed rest and some food restrictions. Now my bilirubin level is 1.5 mg/dl and SGOT SGPT at 49 and 39. Bit now I have intense (severe itching specially in my lower part of the body). My doctor gave me tab Allegra and it relieved some itching but after a week the itching is severe again (specially at night). Please suggest me what to do in detail, as I no longer have contact with my doctor.
