Sir I have a gallstone one with the size 8 mm. Is it very big and is it dangerous? I do have cholesterol with 237. Do i need any surgery or it will remove naturally.

Hello. I would suggest surgery if you are symptomatic. There are certain gallstone dissolving drugs but they are not so effective. Besides gall stones cause a diseased gall bladder mucosa as well so better is to get gallblader removed. You can take medications for your raised cholestrol levels besides controlling diet and life style modification. I would recommend an early laparoscopic cholecystectomy before it causes any complication.
