Donot use steroid based creams on the face. it will make your skin very sensitive. There is no cure for melasma. You can decrease it by taking tabs and applying creams. Avoiding sunexposure is very important. Since it is due to hormones we cannot remove it totally but it can be very well controlled with tabs and creams.
