My left leg knee got injured while playing football, doctor said I have damaged my articular cartilage and ligament. What should I do for speedy recovery, i.e food, exercise, precautions etc.

Mild exercise. Don't lift heavy object. Don't put much pressure on joint. Calcium and protein intake will add a good recovery but medicine is also essential. Consult on chat for homoeopathic medicine prescription.

For damaged Cartilage and ligaments, confirmation is done by MRI of Knee. Hello lybrate-user if you have damage knee ligament, first of all like to know which ligament has been torn and it might require an arthroscopic repair of ligament, if you're being an active sports person you can resume your activity once confirme diagnosis and further management do consult online if required.
