Dear Doctor, I am aged 60. For the past 2 years I hear a continuous noise in my head near both ears. I consulted a private doctor, who said it is my imagination and prescribed some medicines and drops. It does not work and the noise was increasing day by day. Finally I went to a government hospital where they did audiological evaluation test and found that "tinnitus matched at 65db 8000KHZ-pure tone. Result: Right and Left ear - mild sensory - neural hearing loss" Doctor said there is no cure for this. Is there any permanent remedy for this. With regards.

That's true there is no permanent treatment for tinnitus but you can use tinnitus masker. Which can be as laser masker. 2nd you can hot for hearing aid with tinnitus masker. You can consult any Audiologist. Or send me your hearing evaluation paper to check the report.

Hi, There is hearing aid which will help to mask the tinnitus and also get relif. Also there is therapy avialable for it. Visit to experienced audiologist who can help you to get relif from tinnitus.

There are solution for tinnitus. But tinnitus are also of different types too. So without full detail n reports I can't give you any solution.
