Patient having chronic itching around last 25 to 30. Itching is generalised but mainly at wrist, forearm and ankle. Skin is dry, pale,broken and thickened at wrist and ankle. Sometimes episode of sever itching occurs and once start it become more sever. It is relieved during working, during sleep and after taking medication.

Itchy skin may be secondary to dryness (Vata pushing Pitta). Skin may be itchy due to cyst formation (Pitta/Kapha type). Skin may feel itchy when sweating, or when heat (Pitta) is trapped in the body. When wounds are healing, the skin is itchy. In your case it seem to be due to more Vata. Always keep yourself hydrated. Have plenty of liquids. Avoid deep fry foods and dry food and cold beverages. Maintain hygiene. Apply Coconut oil /Aloevera gel as home remedy. Consult with your doctor for detailed diagnosis and treatment.
