Hi, Chest X Ray clear. And I have taken consultation from PGI Lucknow. Where at endocrinology department they told thyroid is normal at 5.6 TSH. Previously I got diagnosed with Hypothyroid disease at that Time TSH is 12.6 t3 and t4 are normal range at PMCH Patna. I have taken eltroxin 50 75 and 100 mg respectively then TSH comes down to 1.2.After that I have not taken eltroxin since two years back .Now bunch of lymph nodes swelled out 22 mm is largest size in my neck area. I have cough also. Now my problem is getting worst.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Hypothyroidism is a thyroxine hormone deficiency disease as your thyroid is unable to produce adequate amount of that hormone. This hormone is needed for day to day metabolic activities and functioning of brain. Hence it needs to be supplemented daily for lifetime. I do not understand why was the treatment stopped. As regards the enlargement of lymph nodes, that needs to be properly examined by your physician or a surgeon. If need be further investigations need to be done. But stopping levothyroxine is not good. Thanks.
