I had prolonged periods. My doctor suggested me to tranostat thrice daily. Now I wanna conceive. What to do? It is not a problem in conceiving no? 1st time I had prolonged periods now when to try? My periods started on 23 April and today is 8th day.

Hi If your periods are prolonged (6-7 days) but are regular you can try to concieve starting from day 12th to 18th if the cycle length is 28 days. If not then see a infertility specialist soon to find out and treat problems of egg formation associated with prolonged irregular cycles.

Get FT4, TSH, Prolactin level done in empty stomach in the morning and do physical relationship between 12th to 16th day of your period. Consult Gynecologist at your place.
