I am suffering from thyroid and I have low haemoglobin and from yesterday my both legs are swollen. Can you suggest me how to increase my hemoglobin and how can take my legs normal.

lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. SOmetimes if Hypothyroidism is not well controlled there can be swelling of legs, feet and even face. Since you are on treatment for hypothyroidism, please tell me what is the TSH level now or very recent one. If it is maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L, then all the symptoms associated with it including swelling of feet and legs are in control. Sometimes even if hemoglobin is too low, that also swelling. Thanks.
