Dear lybrate-user, Good that you know alcohol is causing dyspepsia and GERD. You must be knowing the treatment also- STOP alcohol. If you have any difficulty in stopping alcohol, please take the help of doctors. They give you vitamins and benzodiazepines for withdrawal symptoms, they give anti craving tablets for 9-12 months to reduce your craving for alcohol. They may make you get aversion to alcohol with disulfiram, if needed.
