I am a sportsperson and just stopped playing serious sports due to a knee injury on the same knee (2nd time) including a hectic study schedule. Due to all these factors, I have put on a lot of weight, my weight used to be 62 kgs but now it is 70 kgs and I want to reduce it. My height is 168 cms and according to my sport (badminton) my ideal weight was around 59 to 63 kgs. I am planning to resume my gym sessions (sports based) and also run in the morning. I also have apple cider vinegar+honey+luke warm water daily morning before my breakfast. I have weight gain only on my upper body (near waist, tummy) and I have long legs with a short upper body so it looks awkward with all this weight. How quickly will I be able to reduce my weight? What else should I include in order to reduce weight quickly?
