Ormeloxifen is known to cause delayed menses, but this occurs in only about 10% of the patients and for the first 3 months as it does not affect ovulation. However if periods delayed beyond 15 days, get a pregnancy test and consult the doctor. Has the lump disappeared? Usually we donot prescribe Ormeloxifen unless we have confirmed that it's a fibroadenoma on ultrasound if <30 years and ultrasound and core biopsy in females > 30 years as chances of complex fibroadenoma or atypia is high. And even the hormone receptor positive cancers may respond to Ormeloxifen. Hope I was able to clear your doubts. If you want to discuss this further, feel free to contact me directly.
