Hi, In 2010 I was diagnosed by zolair injection for my asthma. In 2012 I started smoking and I was fine till mid 2017. After mid 2017 in winter I got sick and my cough lasted for 2 weeks (I had quit smoking during the sick days). I started smoking again and after some days I started coughing again and when I stopped smoking the cough slowly reduced. In this summer in March I got sick with 101 fever for 2 days and still have cough, I have stopped smoking from today. So my question is why I'm not healthy as I used to be from 2010-2017 is smoking the issue? Coz I'm not a chain smoker. Why cough won't go away soon. Should I take a long break? I don't want to quit smoking soon. Lifestyle:- Physically inactive Rotational shift job Overweight What measures should I take to be healthy (optional question)
