cholecystectomy is advised even when your asymptomatic if yu have any of the following-
diabetes
mutiple gall stones
large size stone >1 cm
alcalculus cholecystititis
gall bladder polyp
porcelain gall bladder
before undergoing any kind of transplantation
typhoid carriers.
