My 18 month old daughter got post exposure prophylaxis of 4 doses before 5 Months. I fed a stray cat by pouring a glass of milk in cats bowl. Im not sure if the glass touched cats bowl or some droplets spilled on the glass. My daughter exactly after an hour picked the glass from the table and licked it. What are the possibilities of rabies transmission if the cat is rabid. Does she need booster dose now?

There is no transmission from the glass touched by the cat and even otherwise your child is immunised now from the previous injections and hence safe even if bitten now.A booster is given only one year later
