Having snoring problem from around 4 years and it has been increasing over time. Last few months, I am having very loud snoring and that causing vibration for my partner sleeping next to me. It is little less when I sleep on side but snoring happens on side sleeping also. Snoring is not happening full night and it starts and stops in between. My mouth is slightly open while snoring. The another related or unrelated problem is about heavy breathing that I have during daytime and before my sleep time, it is like I am breathing very fast. Not sure if this is related to Snoring or not. I am neither taking Alcohol nor smoking. I get average sleep on 6-6.5 hours daily where based on my FITBIT data, I spent 16% in REM stage, 55% in Light and 15% in Deep sleep stage. (Average resting heartbeat is around 77). My age is 35 years. I am looking for following help from you: What makes me snore when I sleep? Is my snoring a sign of something more serious? What treatments are available for snoring, and which do you recommend? Are there any alternatives to the primary approach that you're suggesting? Are there any steps I can take on my own that will help my snoring?
