I am 32 weeks pregnant with twins babies and both has 1950 and 1930 weight each. My doctor has told me to take dexamethasone injection 12 mg x 3 from 34 weeks onward for babies lungs maturity. My question is that is it safe to take this steroids injections? Does it has any side effects on baby in their future life like mental problems and anxiety? Please answer my question as I am worried where to take this injections or not? And in which week does the babies lungs fully develop? So I can avoid this injections.
